Flagstone Park and Playground can be found near the traffic circle at the entrance to the community. Bulrush Park and Cattail Park are both preserved wetlands encircled by walking paths for visitors. A baseball diamond and soccer fields are located in the centre of the community, next to the K-8 school. Brand new to the community is an NHL-sized hockey rink to be enjoyed all year round. Three more playgrounds are to come, with a 5-acre central park in Fireside’s future as well.
The Embers is anchored around a Tim Hortons, Shell Gas station, and a McDonalds. Other businesses that are now open include Fireside Dental, Maple Leaf Medical & Pharmacy, Star Liquor, and restaurant options including a pub, deli, and a cafe. Take advantage of retail conveniences and basic services close to home.
